The canine acetabular plates are an excellent quick solution for repairing acetabular fractures. These plates are pre-contoured to the shape of the dorsal acetabular rim on the average dog and therefore they seldomly need any additional contouring. The 1.5 and 2.0 mm plates are designed with 4 holes to allow enough purchase on both sides of the fracture. There is plenty of room in the middle of the small plate to cover the fracture line without a screw hole. The size of the plate is limited not to overhand the caudal acetabulum.
