TPLO plate intended to be used in the larger than 90 lbs dog's TPLO surgery. It was based on the previous broad plate design with elongating the stem with one more screw hole and adding the 4th screw to the head portion as well. The heavy plate is providing extra stability right where you need it. Recently the design was updated with adding a limited contact back to improve periosteal circulation and a popular matte finish for reducing bacterial colonization
